" Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, that I may honor you." Psalm 86:11
That verse is my prayer tonight. All my life, I have grown up in church so I obviously know the ten commandments, but this verse takes it so much deeper. I have sinned an infinite number of times this week. Sometimes I was aware of it, other times I wasn't. My longing truly is to honor and glorify God, despite the fact that my actions tend to say otherswise. I leave for my missions trip to France in 3 days and part of me wants to wait until then to really seek God. Mission trips always bring spiritual highs, but the bottom line is; God is the same no matter where I am, and he deserves the same amount of honor and praise regardless of whether I'm in a foreign country doing His work or at home being lazy on a hot summer day. Teach me your ways, O Lord... I want to honor You.

ZUMBA!!!!!!!!!
I did Zumba for the second time tonight at my local gym. It is honestly the most fun I've had in a while. It was a great way to get exercise and it didn't even feel like it! I have to say though, I'm horrible at it. Always a few beats behind or going in the wrong direction. HAHA But it was still so so fun and I look forward to doing it again. Being active is a huge change in my lifestyle. I'm use to just laying in bed watching TV as soon as I get home from school, but being active is making me more energized and an overall happier person!

Time for Change
For so long I have kept an unhealthy lifestyle. I have been lazy and have not at all honored the God's temple. So it's time for change. Before I use to sit on my bed for hours and eat, do unproductive things on the computer, and I always wondered why I was so depressed! Well now, though it may be difficult, it is time to break these long-practiced bad habits. I have joined a gym and I plan to spend as little time in my bed with my computer as possible. I have been so immoderate in my love for God's gifts, like food and technology etc. I the only thing that I should be immoderate in is my love for God! It's true, old habits die hard, but when you have the Living God as your source of strength, no obstacle is too great!
